In August 2017, a crime shocked Valencia: Antonio Navarro<\/strong>, an industrial engineer, was stabbed to death in the garage of his home in the Patraix neighborhood. The police investigation uncovered a story that seemed straight out of a crime novel: his wife, Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Moreno<\/strong>, known to the press as Maje, and her lover, Salvador Rodrigo<\/strong>, were found guilty of the murder. <\/p>\n\n

The case, baptized by the media as the case of the Black Widow of Patraix, had enormous repercussions in Spain due to the coldness of the crime, the unexpected twists and turns and the media interest it generated during the trial. Now, Netflix<\/a> <\/strong>recovers this story in the form of a fiction miniseries, under the title “La Viuda Negra” (The Black Widow), produced by Bamb\u00fa Producciones<\/a><\/strong> and directed by Carlos Sedes.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

A high-level miniseries<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The series has a cast headed by Ivana Baquero in the role of Maje, Trist\u00e1n Ulloa as Salva and the participation of actresses such as Carmen Machi. It consists of six episodes in which the relationship between the protagonists, the murder and the subsequent judicial investigation are reconstructed. <\/p>\n\n

Netflix <\/strong>and Bamb\u00fa Producciones <\/strong>have opted for a sober and realistic style, where the locations are locations<\/a> <\/strong>have a fundamental weight to move the viewer to the everyday environment of the protagonists. These are not studio sets: the chosen spaces convey the texture of the real thing, which increases the narrative impact.<\/p>\n\n

Rep Locations at The Black Widow<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

At Rep Locations<\/strong> <\/a>we had the opportunity to collaborate with the production team by providing several key locations for the series. Among them are two very different stories that bring different nuances to the narrative:<\/p>\n\n

Charming Family Apartment<\/a> – REF: P06010RL<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

This apartment was chosen to represent the home of Maje’<\/strong>s sister. Vintage style, it stands out for its spacious and cozy kitchen, wooden floors and bright balconies that bathe the rooms in natural light. <\/p>\n\n

The property also has a courtyard with plants, which adds freshness and an intimate air to the scenes.
It is a space with personality, very versatile, which adapts to both fiction filming and advertising productions.<\/p>\n\n
