The police investigation uncovered a story that seemed straight out of a crime novel: his wife, María Jesús Moreno, known to the press as Maje, and her lover, Salvador Rodrigo, were found guilty of the murder.

The case, baptized by the media as the case of the Black Widow of Patraix, had enormous repercussions in Spain due to the coldness of the crime, the unexpected twists and turns and the media interest it generated during the trial. Now, Netflix recovers this story in the form of a fiction miniseries, under the title “La Viuda Negra” (The Black Widow), produced by Bambú Producciones and directed by Carlos Sedes.
The series has a cast headed by Ivana Baquero in the role of Maje, Tristán Ulloa as Salva and the participation of actresses such as Carmen Machi. It consists of six episodes in which the relationship between the protagonists, the murder and the subsequent judicial investigation are reconstructed.
