Comedy series also need settings that convey personality and authenticity. Machos Alfa, one of Netflix’ s most popular Spanish productions in recent years, combines humor, current relationships and everyday situations that take place in carefully chosen real spaces.
As in many current productions, locations play a fundamental role in bringing the story to life. Modern houses, urban penthouses and hotels become perfect settings to recreate the world of the protagonists.
If you think that your house, office, industrial building or any other property that is peculiar for any reason, can serve as a set or location for a movie, series, TV spot or photo shoot, do not hesitate to send us your property to be rented as spaces for filming, who knows, maybe your house will appear in the next Tarantino’s movie.
Machos Alfa is a comedy created by brothers Alberto and Laura Caballero that follows the lives of four friends – Pedro, Luis, Raúl and Santi – as they try to adapt to social changes and a new reality in which traditional models of masculinity no longer fit.
Throughout the series, the protagonists face divorces, complex relationships, parenthood and all kinds of situations that test their vision of the world. Humor and self-criticism are the tools with which the series explores the social changes of recent years.
The fourth season of the series premiered on Netflix on January 9, 2026 and continues to show the adventures of these four friends who, in the midst of a mid-life crisis, try to reinvent themselves while dealing with new ways of understanding relationships and life as a couple.
With a cast headed by Fernando Gil, Fele Martínez, Raúl Tejón and Gorka Otxoa, the series has become one of the most watched Spanish comedies on the platform.
At Rep Locations we had the opportunity to collaborate with the production team by contributing several locations that appear throughout the series.
Today’s television productions are increasingly looking to shoot in real spaces that bring naturalness to the scenes and help build the universe of the characters. Among the locations managed by Rep Locations used in the shooting, the following stand out:
This spectacular villa of contemporary architecture was used as Pedro’s house in the series.
The house is distributed on two floors and stands out for its minimalist style, with large windows that connect the interior with a large garden with pool. The living room, with double height ceilings and marble floors in sand tones, provides an elegant and very cinematic aesthetic.
Among its most striking spaces are the master bedroom suite with Jacuzzi and dressing room, an industrial-inspired stainless steel kitchen and a complete private gym. A perfect environment for both fiction filming and advertising productions.
Another of the locations used in the series was this spacious villa that combines a modern exterior with elegant and cozy interiors.
Its open spaces, high ceilings and large windows create bright and connected environments. The spacious living room with integrated kitchen with island and en-suite bedrooms in earth tones provide a contemporary atmosphere that fits perfectly with the style of many current productions.
Outside, the infinity pool and the chill-out area with views of Madrid stand out, a very attractive space for filming movies, series or advertising campaigns.
In addition to the homes that appear throughout the series, the production team also used other locations managed by Rep Locations to recreate different environments within the story.
Among them we find a villa used as a hotel and a house that became the apartment of Begoña, one of the characters of the series.
This location was used to recreate scenes set in a hotel within the series.
It is a very versatile space for audiovisual shoots, since this type of location allows the recreation of different narrative situations, from encounters between characters to scenes related to travel or events. Due to its structure and distribution, it is a particularly practical location for film, series and advertising productions.
Another of the locations used in the series was this elegant penthouse that became Begoña’s apartment.
The house stands out for its great luminosity and sophisticated atmosphere, in addition to having a cozy terrace overlooking a square in the center of the city. An urban space with a lot of character that fits perfectly in fiction filming and contemporary audiovisual productions.
